Hello Lovely!
I’m Kathryn (she/her), I create warm, joyful, unique wedding ceremonies for modern couples making meaningful choices about their wedding day. I’m an empathetic, enthusiastic, cat-loving, feminist and occasional nerd. I’m passionate about people, love, inclusion and creating fabulous memories for couples who want a relaxed, fun-filled wedding ceremony.
When I’m not creating and celebrating weddings across the UK and beyond, you’ll find me living life with my husband David and our two furry overlords; Nancy Cat and Timba .C. Cat, in Penge, South East London. I’m all about community, the kind of person always ‘putting their hand up’ and getting involved in local projects with friends, and usually ending up in the pub for a G&T afterwards…
Some fun facts about me… I’m a transport geek. I used to work at London Transport Museum and have been known to recall the start and end points of London bus routes #1 to #40 from memory. I’m also an armchair sports fan and quiz fiend. When I’m not celebrating gorgeous couples at their wedding, you’ll find me cheering on/grumbling at; Dulwich Hamlet FC, Arsenal, and Minnesota Vikings, or watching Strictly, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Eurovision, Only Connect and RuPaul’s Drag Race!

I have been a Humanist for many years. I was drawn to becoming a Wedding Celebrant because I adore people, love and celebration. One of my favourite things is getting to know people. I love learning all about you both, your story, your memories, in-jokes and what matters to you. I love working with you so you really enjoy creating your ceremony together, feel amazing on your wedding day and have a fabulous time!
I became a celebrant after two friends had a humanist wedding. Their wedding celebrated them so perfectly, reflecting their love story and different cultures coming together, that I was inspired to be part of creating that for others. They now joke that if only I’d decided sooner, I could have married them. But without their wedding, I’m not a celebrant… It is a wedding paradox!
I love ritual & celebration, humans have been marking milestones by gathering people around them for thousands of years. I’m honoured to be part of that for every couple I create a wedding ceremony for. One of my favourite things is a fabulous day filled with love that makes people feel good.
I’m driven by my values in all I do. Here’s some of what matters to me…

I create personal, meaningful wedding ceremonies for all couples. I am especially skilled in creating inclusive and accessible weddings that truly celebrate couples and individuals from the LGBTQIA+ Community as well as the Disabled, Chronic Illness, or Neurodivergent Communities. Accredited by Humanists UK to Create Beautiful Ceremonies
I chose to train to become an accredited Humanist Celebrant as I knew the learning was gold-standard and I would be fully prepared to deliver the high-quality, fabulous ceremonies I now create for all my couples. It also gave me the peer support of an amazing network of colleagues. To maintain my accreditation, I complete professional development and am periodically observed to ensure my couples have a feel-good, fabulous wedding. Excellent quality is assured.

Every ceremony I create for each couple I have the joy to marry, is written completely from scratch. You deserve so much more than a template ceremony. Each and every word I write in your bespoke wedding ceremony, each element included, chosen by you, comes from our conversations as I get to know you both.
I’ve written ceremonies that include ring-warmings, handfastings and helped couples create wedding rituals that are absolutely unique to them, one couple even chose to toast their love with ‘unity shots’. Every moment in each ceremony has been utterly unique and meaningful to each couple, including no limits on the words and music chosen, there’s been everything from Frida Kahlo to Phoebe Waller-Bridge to Carl Sagan to Metallica. I’ll help you focus in on what’s most important about your wedding, how you want your ceremony to feel - for you and your guests! Every moment will reflect the joy of the day, celebrate your love and be truly authentic to you. The ultimate celebration of love to kick off your married life!
